Today, Tahliyah and I came up with another poster. Te Horeta is also still famous until now, and also well-known.! He was also a person who was included in Waitangi day in the olden days, along with a famous well-known name called Captain cook, he also met him.

2020 Maori Lingo Week

Task description

In literacy, we had to pick one partner for a very important task related to Maori Language week. Since we had to pick a partner. I obviously choose Tahliyah to be my partner. We came up with another presentation about Kia Kaha Te Reo Maori. We first watched the main videos on the presentation, in order to understand the meaning of each video. 

Taha Tinana .

 

Task description 

Taha Tinana is about physical well-being, along with looking after our body. Keeping our body active and healthy is really important to us. While on the other hand there can be sometimes tons of exercise poses to choose from.

Task description

This slideshow is about Taha Tinana. I choosed Christmas, since it's a festive time to celebrate, and feel brand new. Christmas is also a very rare time, where some people can also reunite with their family once again. Some people around the world, also can vividly remember some of their memorable Christmas times from their pasts. 

Captain Cook / Literacy

Task description

Today in Literacy, Tahliyah and I partnered up, and came up with the main task that were supposed to be made. There was three options to be choose from. The first was a diary explanation of experiencing, what basically being a member on Captain Cooks boat is like. Second was mainly discussing Captain Cook's journey. Third one was another explanation of the Transit of Venus. We chose the first one, and came up with this.!

24 Hour clock ( Maths )

Today we learned about the time, and the importance of it, along with learning the 24 hour clock. It was typically two difference types of time present. 

The Sunboy ( Legend / learning )

 

Task description - 

Today we learnt about a original legend, that was basically made from Tonga. This legend is about a boy , who mainly always shouted out to his mother where his dad is, since his mother was always busy.
