Thank you letter to EY

Dear EY,

I just want to say thank you for teaching us new things we didn't know from the start I wasn't really good at some of the subjects like maths,reading and also english, but then I decided to join homework club and improved in some of it and it was really fun like playing cards and learning about new stuff we did not know. Secondly we all appreciated your fun activities you've prepared for us every Wednesday. I'd really be happy if I could come and visit you sometimes and also help i'll try my best to come and help and also visit. I know how many times i've repeated saying thank you it's because you all came all the way from auckland city just to teach us how to improve in other subjects. THANK YOU EY!

Athletics Day

Yesterday on wednesday it was Athletics day the sun was as hot as a desert. I was one of the people that had to run in the egg race, including some of my friends they were exhausted when they ran.

 When our name got called out we had to follow Mrs.Donaldson to line up for the race, though the race was two hundred metres long. When we started running I wanted to jog until we get to the end, and then sprint at the end. When I ran Nia-Jay was leading in front of me, because I went the wrong way which was around not straight. But then suddenly I caught up to her in the end of the race and became 1st and started fainting a little at the end and it was tiring. After running in the egg race my name got called out again for the one hundred metre race which I did not want to run in. When the starter said ready,set,go my heart was beating seeing Papiloti coming 1st I decided winning doesn't mean anything but having fun means something, though my stomach was hurting a little and I started to slow down because I didn't really care about coming 1st anymore, though I came 2nd and my friends came 3rd and 4th. After doing the one hundred metre race my name got called again with my other friends again, nevertheless I just had to give it a try and also have fun. Room 10 and Room 11 had 4 people in each team but there were 2 teams of Room 10 and Room 11 and I was one of them that had to run it was a relay. Peliasi was our starter and I was the second person that had to run and give it to the third person to pass it to the 4th person which is the person that ends the relay, suddenly Peliasi,Riko,Loti and I won. Then it was three sticks we all took turns and some of us got eliminated and we had to watch them or even watch with our parents though I forgot to tell my Mum to come and watch me. Riko was the last one to do three sticks it was super hard and the sticks were wide opened but suddenly he got eliminated. Next some of the parents had to race Tua’s auntie Josey ran and fell down and most of us were watching including my friends. Now it was tug-o-war we had to vs room 10 and we tried our best but did not even won but it was worth a try and it was superb though it hurt some of our hands. After vs room 10 in tug-o-war other rooms vs too like room 6 and room 7.

 Finally it was the parents turn and teacher too to do tug-o-war and some parents did not wanted to join though Mr.Hendricks team won and it was finally time to go home when the tug-o-war finish.

Playing dodge ball can be fun but there is some important rules before you start the game. First your not allowed to throw the ball at peoples faces or hands you only hit the ball on the knees and also below the knees not over. Second don't go out of the squares or else you'll be out of the game and you'll be eliminated which you will have to throw the balls from the sides. Lastly don't go out of your squares to the other teams square, you can only go in the middle and throw the ball from there not anywhere else, unless if your out but your gonna have to be on the line beside the other teams square not in the middle.

On thursday we went to the garden, and it was cold outside and it was as cold as a ice stuck on my feet trying to get it out. The sky was white as snow too. But then suddenly it blended into warmness. Room 11 and I saw lots of lettuce and it was fully green. Each one of us got to hold the lettuce. After picking up some lettuce we went to the hall, and Mrs.Pat organized all of the recipes for the sandwich that we were going to make including the lettuce. Then we got the bread and also took some lettuce and mayonnaise and also tomato, but some of Rm11 did not even put some of the tomato on the bread. We tasted it and it was superb and yummy. Nevertheless we went back to class and continued painting...

How to throw a shotput

First you bend down your knees and after bending your knees you put the shot put on your hand but don't forget to leave some space under the shot put or else you might hurt your muscles. After that you put the shot put on your ears then throw.

Should students be served breakfast at school?

I think that students should have breakfast because it has nutri grains in it and also when you add a fruit with its going to be really good for you. Some cereals are made out of lots of sugar with honey (Honey buffs and more). Some people usually eats weet-bix every morning, though some of us eats cereal. Cereals are made out of different kinds of ingredients. Its refreshing because of the milk it also gives you energy and it makes you not sleepy, but the opposite of sleepy. This is why I think people should eat cereal or weet-bix.

Why Taurua should stay as a coach for Silver Ferns.

In my opinion, I really do think that Taurua should be as a coach, and also I think Silver ferns are use to her being there coach ,teaching them probably ,though if she left it will be very sad...

I've learned today when you aren't good at something do not give up because you can still do it, but if you give up its not worth a try to just give up and learn something else.. Just try to do your best and you will achieve your goal. Encouraging others are one of the most important things in life, but there are other words out there that you can still find and capture it into a realistic moment. If you have mistakes in life its okay because people already knows that you are trying hard. Never give up and encourage all your friends,cousin and be yourself, though DO YOUR BEST!

Speed!

How to play Speed! First set five cards to to the sides each and then put two cards separated on the sides, though face the cards downward. Next if you see a jack and a queen, and you have a ten or a number before ten. Though you have to first put down the ten and then choose which way you wanna go like backwards or forward that's the option you have to go with, though there can be other cards like ten,jack or any!..Though you have to say Speed or otherwise you lose..

Elive the Goalie

One day there was a girl named Elive, she was really good and excellent at goaling. She even had a creative and artistic mind. When the ball came and it was a nightmare for her she had lots of butterflies in her tummy. “Awww!” shouted the other players disappointed. She loved playing when it was summer because she's usually into summer. But in the morning it was warm like it was venus ,though it blended into coldness“ Oh no..” said Elive to herself. “ I FORGOT MY SOCCER SHOES!” Yelled Elive. The other players on her team came and said if she’s alright. “Yea..?” said Elive quietly. She thought that they were really disappointed in her. “ Elive where's your soccer shoes?” mentioned the coach to her. “Forgettt..ehh?” Said elive. “Ok well next time make sure to come with your soccer shoes ok” mentioned the coach to her. They had one more game to go , but if they beat them they get to go to the soccer world cup game. “One more chance, One more game.” Elive said quietly to herself. “Well.. I can't wait for tomorrow". Finally it was the day that they have another chance to win and to go to the soccer world cups. But.. they both had the same score and there was fifty four seconds to go. And the other team came for a score with the ball. As the other team shoots the ball and the coach shouted out “ Watch out!” Yelled Elive, though they WON! Elives parents were very proud they yelled out as much as they can “ THAT'S MY GIRL!”...

My weekend

My weekend

In the weekends it was exciting and superb!It was as cold as an ice cream freezing in the snow,but in the morning it was warm, though it blended into coldness when it came to night time. I decided to play cards and noticed something strange, but it was my little sister trying to scare me while I'm playing with the cards. As I shuffled the cards with my eyes being watchful for my little sister before she comes again, and tries to alarm me. As my Mum called us for dinner, we had vegetable soup that actually had good nutrition in it, which was yum and delicious to eat. My sister kept staring at me which was obvious that she tried to scare me.. Nevertheless I looked away trying to ignore her eyes.

I love going to church! Going to church is really fun,superb and enjoyable. When it comes to Saturday I get excited for tomorrow. In the 8th of May Rm11 and I went sailing it was fun, the sun was quite warm and sunny. Steve, Jo and Juliet told Rm11 to split into two groups and also to get our own partner. We had to wear a safe jacket. My partner was Luisa and she was kinda good at sailing. Sailing was produced by Rotary Club in St.Johns. I felt really cold like I was in Uranus.. "Alrida put in the Centre board" said Luisa. "ok ok" as I said quietly.

Its Ok to be yourself and not copy anyone else with their style. Your beautiful just the way you are. You don't have to change your style because if you do, you'll be different..For example. If someone says "straight hair is much better than curly hair" to you and you have curly hair. Its not really nice for someone to say that to you. Just don't change your hair, ignore them and be yourself. Most times we are just all caught up with the trend and we want to be others. This isn't good. We need need to appreciate ourselves and all the beautiful features of our body that God has created. We are all beautiful and unique in different ways. Everything about us is unique. For an example. I define myself as a Tongan and I am very grateful for being a Tongan because i find it special and unique. Our talents are also unique even if they're weird or funny it is still special because it is a feature we have within us, and most people can't do it. For another example. My talent is being a Gymnastic and Artist, and I am very very thankful for my talents because I call them gifts from God. Our talent makes us unique. WE ARE ALL UNIQUE!
